From scholarship holder to project manager

41

"I'm fascinated by the way you accompany a building from the design to the execution of the works, watching it grow." This is how Franziska sums up the fascination she has for her profession. From 2014 to 2020, she completed her architectural studies at the Faculty of Architecture at FH Aachen. Nowadays, she works as a project manager at Brainergy Park in Jülich - an industrial park that serves as a real laboratory for research into sustainable energies and technologies. The so-called Brainergy Hub will be built in the centre of the area; a building in which all actors can network. The search for a suitable architectural firm is coordinated by Franziska. At FH Aachen, she worked as a research assistant and received two scholarships. The one-year scholarship consists of financial support in the amount of 300 euros per month as well as non-material support.
