Campus Jülich is the largest construction project ever undertaken at FH Aachen. 87 million Euros have been invested by the federal and state governments, with a total of 23,000 square metres of gross floor area created over a construction period of three years. The new building accommodates three faculties: Chemistry and Biotechnology, Medical Technology and Technomathematics as well as Energy Technology. The new Campus Jülich is inaugurated on 3 November 2010. Svenja Schulze, Innovation Minister of the State of NRW, emphasises: "What is being achieved here on Campus Jülich provides answers to many future challenges, especially in the field of energy and environmental research."
