"Today, with the start of the zeroth semester, we're all breaking completely new ground." With these words of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Norbert Janz, a cooperation between RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen - a cooperation unparalleled in Germany - commences in the spring of 2015.

The project "A Good Start to Studies in Engineering" provides prospective students with the opportunity to register at both universities and to decide after one semester at which university, and which subject, they want to study.

The really great cooperation between the colleagues in both universities makes it easier and stronger for many young people to start their studies.

FH Aachen University and RWTH Aachen University also work closely together in the area of talent scouting - the kick-off was given in April 2017 with Minister Svenja Schulze, the event was moderated by Dr. Roger Uhle
