The Aachen artist and FH graduate Eric Peters is one of Germany's most successful painters. His paintings are sold all over the world. They can be found in the collection of the Russian National Museum in St. Petersburg, in the NASA Space Center in Houston, Texas (USA), or in the Neil Armstrong Hall of Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana (USA), to name but a few.
His preferred pictorial subjects are cosmology, still lifes, portraits and animal figures, which he paints on huge canvases in his own distinctly personal style. Peters uses the so-called superposition, an overlapping of the same motif, which makes the paintings look vivid, almost alive.
