Solving a task that even experts have to rack their brains over - "pro8" makes this possible. The weeklong project of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics focuses on students' and pupils' approaches to solving problems.
Working in teams, thex develop a concept to solve a task that is set by representatives of business and industry. These are actual existing problems or issues from practice for which solutions are to be found.
pro8 creates an 'aha' moment.

Prof. Dr. Martina Klocke developed the project week with her team in 2008. The important lesson for the participants in the competition is, as she puts it: "pro8 creates an 'aha' moment".
